Eisenhower takes down Tidioute Charter on annual ‘pink-out’ night in Russell

The annual “pink-out” volleyball match was held at Eisenhower in its regular-season home finale Tuesday and the hosts came away with a 25-11, 26-28, 25-20, 25-14 victory over Tidioute Charter School.
Rayna Hultman recorded three aces, and teammates Layla Edwards and Caroline Smythe each recorded spikes in the final game to cap an evening in which the Knights and their fans raised $236 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month on behalf of the Warren Hospital Cancer Center.
Brookston Foors, Zaynah Gardner and Lexis Durkenbroad led the way for the Bulldogs.
Eisenhower, which travels to Iroquois on Thursday, also won the junior varsity match 25-8, 25-12.
