Beaty wanted a chance to experience a middle school football game on the new War Memorial Field, and they got their chance on Thursday.
They, as in Beaty White versus Beaty Blue.
Consolidating with both Youngsville and Sheffield, there are two Warren middle school teams in 2022 and they played each other at home to end the season.
Technically, Beaty Blue’s home field is Sheffield High School, but the home high school turf was more than enough. Beaty White consolidates with Youngsville, but the biggest difference in this friendly battle was that Beaty White had a Ringer. Ethan Ringer.
Ringer scored three long touchdowns and had his hand in a fourth touchdown in Beaty White’s 26-6 win. Ringer had first-half TD runs of 37 and 49 yards, respectively, and a second-half score from 42 yards out on an option play that was technically a pass from Noah Bleech.

Ringer finished with 129 yards rushing and 47 receiving.
Bleech’s second touchdown pass was a short 5-yard pass to Ringer, who pitched back to Trey Carrington, finishing with a 19-yard touchdown the rest of the way.
Charlie Blum booted through two extra points for Beaty White’s scoring. Beaty Blue’s Alex Wilkins blocked one attempt.
It’s not that Beaty Blue didn’t move the ball. It did, especially on its last drive. Quarterback Broc Bryan hit Cole Fitzgerald down the right sideline for a long bomb that was called back due to penalty. So, Bryan did it again, connecting with Fitzgerald for a first down, then with Chris Orth for another. Those pass plays set up a 10-yard scoring toss to Jaxon Thrift with 36 seconds left.
Orth finished with five grabs for 47 yards. Beaty Blue’s Brock Polito had a game-high 11 carries for 34 yards.
