Warren moves to 6-0 in volleyball

Warren’s volleyball team is 6-0 on the regular season with its third sweep of the week on Saturday 25-17, 25-21, 25-11 over Harbor Creek at Warren Area High School.

Kylie Fehlman had 10 kills and four blocks; Alexia Bowers nine kills; Maddy Jones six kills and six digs; and Lindsay Madigan five kills, six digs, three aces and 24 assists for Warren. Carly Beers had seven digs and two aces, and Summer Lucks 18 digs.

“Good nonregion win to cap off a solid week of volleyball and prepare us for Region 5 play next week on Monday at home versus Grove City and Thursday on the road at Hickory,” said Warren coach Mike Dolan. “We got a nice spark from our players coming off the bench today.”

Kirsten Johnson added three kills and an ace; Maddie Nosel a kill and a dig, Lilly Newton two kills and a block; and Sophie Walker two aces in the varsity victory.

Earlier Saturday, Harbor Creek’s JV defeated Warren 25-21, 21-25, 15-5.

Newton had five kills and five blocks for Warren; Elissa Errett four assists, Lily Walker two digs, a kill and an ace; Allie Lauffenburger a kill; Lauren Fajbik two kills and a dig; Sophie Walker eight digs, an assist and an ace; Tori Solberg a block; Nosel three kills, four digs and a block; Emma Gray a dig; Lauren Shattuck an ace and a dig; Sophia Fromknecht a kill and a dig; and Delaney Wright two kills, three digs and eight assists.
