Tarp Skunks split games
NEWARK, N.Y. — The Tarp Skunks (21-20-1) let another Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game slip away as it gave up four runs in the bottom of the tenth to lose 11-10 to the Newark Pilots (13-28-0) on Sunday.
Jamestown scored three runs in the top half of the tenth with its first two coming because of a fielding error. After Johnny Kampes and Jack Davis scored, Henry Martinez made his way around the bases to give the Tarp Skunks a 10-7 lead.
