Rocky Grove beats Eisenhower 11-1

RUSSELL -- Rocky Grove pitchers threw a four-hitter as the Orioles beat Eisenhower 11-1 at Werner Park on Monday.

The Knights trailed 2-0 in the top of the third inning, but limited the damage as junior Brok English tagged out a Rocky Grover runner at home plate.

English had two hits while Camron Jakubczak, Cole Chapman and Cole Kellogg each had one single.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Knights scored when Cole Kellogg drew a walk and stole second. The throw went into the outfield and Kellogg advanced to third base. English got on with a well-hit single and Jakubczack got on with a fielder's choice before Chapman hit an RBI single to make it 8-1.

The Orioles would add three more runs making the final 11-1.
