Matt Shippee went 4 for 4 to lead Team Weissinger to a 10-3 victory over Team Haynes in Warren County Minors action.

Keegan Wissinger, Archer Watson, Mason Gentz and Finley Mummolo also had hits for Team Weissinger, which benefited from eight strikeouts.

Asher Stanton struck out eight and Colton Haynes struck out three for Team Haynes.

Warren Overhead Door and Warren Moose battled to a 10-10 tie Monday night at Johnson Field.

For the visitors, Warren Moose, Reed Fitzgerald had a single and a double, and Ty Bryan added a single while also pitching three scoreless innings, striking out all nine batters he faced.

For Warren Overhead Door, Caleb Fralick had two singles. Clay Cummings pitched three innings, striking out seven batters.

Youth softball

Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge 339 beat American Legion Hilgren Post 658 15-6 in Majors action.

Katie Finch was the winning pitcher and Olivia Romasky hit a grand slam. Lily Richards and Cierra Melquist hit singles.

Golf leagues

The final registration for the Cable Hollow Golf Course Senior Men’s Friday League will be held from 8-10 a.m. this Friday at the clubhouse.

Play will begin May 6, schedules will be emailed and new players are welcome.
