Parks Ordiway didn't hit a 3-pointer last time Warren played Titusville. On Friday, he hit 6 against the Rockets and finished with 26 points in the Dragons' 67-38 Region 5 win at Warren Area High School.
"Parks kept us in the game in the first half because we had some guys struggling," said Warren coach Jeff Berdine, whose Dragons are 12-5 overall and 7-1 in the region.
Ordiway scored 19 points in Warren's 36-21 first half.
"We actually talked about how poorly he shot the ball against them last time," said Berdine of Ordiway. "I made the comment to the team, 'They're not going to be that lucky this time around.' He backed it up for me."
It was a 20-6 Dragon third quarter that iced it.
"We only gave up two 3s in the second half after giving up 5 in the first half," said Berdine.
Nine Dragons scored in the win, including 11 each from Bryce Blair and JT Blum, and 9 from Owen Becker.
Titusville's varsity is 3-13 overall and 1-7 in Region 5.
