Kyler, Brown, Campbell wins not enough for Sheffield
BRADFORD — Chase Kyler, Collin Brown, and Danah Campbell were all able to get wins via pin, but it wasn’t enough, as the Wolverines fell to Bradford on the road 37-30.
“Bright spots for the night were Danah Campbell at heavyweight, Chase Kyler at 113, Collin Brown at 126,” said Sheffield head coach Tom Holden.
“Started the season with a disappointing loss to Bradford,” said Holden. “Lost by seven, but thought we were seven points better than them, but we didn’t wrestle that way.”
Sheffield gave up four forfeits, one of which was a double at the 138-pound weight class.
“We’ve got some things to work on,” said Holden. “Won’t be back at it until January 4th against Clarion.”
Sheffield’s junior was victorious, 48-18.
