Warren is 2-0 and Eisenhower 0-2 after the Dragons’ 5-0 non-region shutout win in boys soccer Thursday at War Memorial Field.

Warren controlled possession for most of the game, with Parks Ordiway capitalizing on the first of his four goals just under 14 minutes into the match.

After Ordiway had five assists in a road region win Tuesday at Titusville, the junior actually assisted one of his own goals Thursday. He hit the top crossbar with a shot that bounced high in the air in front of goal before he headed it in.

Ethan Best was credited with the other Dragons goal when he and teammate JT Blum battled Ike’s goalie in a scrum from 5 yards out.

Blum finished with two assists and Jack Darling had one on “Youth Night” at War Memorial with a nice crowd and the Warren Area High School band in attendance.

Starting at $3.50/week.
