Cameron County drops Wolverines to 0-5 on season
EMPORIUM — Sheffield hit the road Friday night to take on the Cameron County Red Raiders, but were unable to put any offensive points on the board, losing 54-2 to fall to 0-5 on the year.
The Wolverines’ only score, a safety, came off of an intentional grounding penalty in the end zone to help the Wolverines avoid their third shutout of the year.

For Cameron County on offense, it was a different ballgame as the Red Raiders improved to 3-1 on the back of Lethan Reed who reached paydirt on three separate occasions, racking up 358 total yards.
Red Raiders quarterback Maddox Baughman didn’t have to do much through the air, throwing for 145 yards on four completions. Baughman also threw a touchdown and an interception.
