Warren opens at 4 p.m. Tuesday vs. Grove City at Slippery Rock University.

The Dragons know all about Region 5 champion Harbor Creek (18-2), which plays Corry (7-10) at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mercyhurst University. Region 5’s second-place team, Cathedral Prep (16-4), plays there earlier, at 1:30 p.m. against Meadville (7-10).

Before a potential third matchup of the season with Harbor Creek, Warren (10-8) — the third 4A seed out of Region 5 — would have to beat the third 4A seed out of Region 2, Grove City (11-7).

Slippery Rock (11-5) vs. General McLane (7-10) will follow, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Slippery Rock University.

There were no D10 playoffs last spring, but Warren won the last D10 4A title in 2019, over General McLane. Prep won the last D10 5A championship game before dropping down to 4A.

In Class 2A, Eisenhower is the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 West Middlesex at 4 p.m. Monday at Slippery Rock University. No. 1 Sharpsville awaits the winner Thursday.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 6 Lakeview will take on No. 3 Wilmington at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Neshannock High School. No. 7 Mercer and No. 2 Cambridge Springs will precede Eisenhower-West Middlesex at Slippery Rock.
