Knights suffer 6-3 loss

Saegertown (8-3) was able to pick up an 6-3 baseball win over Eisenhower (6-4) on Thursday afternoon behind a balanced attack.

Anthony Hernandez, Joe Grundy and Landon Caldwell each had two hits with Hernandez collecting two RBIs.

Zane Alexander and Teagan Gray each had a pair of hits for the Knights, and Kael Hunt ripped a double.

Henry Shaffer was credited with the win on the hill, striking out six and walking two in five innings before giving way to Chandler Davidson.

Hunt struck out two in two innings of work while Owen Trumbull fanned five in five innings and walked a pair for Eisenhower.

The Knights visit Iroquois on Saturday.
