RUSSELL — Rocky Grove was able to get by Eisenhower, 16-11, in a girls softball game Tuesday.

Taylor Napolitan took care of most of the pitching work for the Knights, finishing her day with four strikeouts while Emilie Jones added two innings of work in the circle.

Jones smacked a triple, Delaney Chase scored three times and ripped a double while Julie Gesing had a double as well.

Kennedi Winslow led the winners in the circle. The Knights will travel to face Youngsville on Thursday.

Baseball Minors

Woodin Law Office defeated Gretchen E. Pourier Licensed Massage Therapist, 10-8, on Monday night at the Farm Colony.

Woodin’s Tanner Stuart and Parker McBride both had five strikeouts apiece, with Pourier’s Bentley Sherry recording six strikeouts.

Pourier’s boys hit well with four singles, while Woodin’s Nicholas Joblon had a good night at the plate, ripping a double to left field.

Horner Family Practice defeated Terry Card Home Improvements, 6-3, in a thriller that ended in a walk-off in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Liam Hanson drilled a home run and had two RBIs, while Alexander Lund had six strikeouts in the win.

Chase Card was 2 for 2 for Terry Card, and Justin Klenowski smacked a triple with two RBIs.

Ground Zero Stump Grinding topped AGI Safety Services, 9-4.

Ground Zero had stellar defensive plays by Kaleb Kenworthy and Lauson Hoisington. AGI was led by Wyatt Wilson.

Softball Majors

Warren Plaza Restaurant was an 11-2 win over Titusville on Monday.

Alexis Jones had two home runs to lead the winners, while Alanna Warrior and Bailey Williams combined on a double play.

Girls Machine Pitch

Team John Anderson Construction edged Team Drakes Mobile Estates, 15-14.

The game was called after three innings due to weather.
