Parker Shene won the high jump (5-4), long jump (18-5) and triple jump (38-8) for the Dragons while Graham Carr captured the 800 meters (2:11.24) and 1,600 meters (4:55.44).

“We had a good overall team effort from our boys today and were able to come away with a close win,” Warren coach Kevin Dustin said. “What really stood out to me was that we battled for position whether it was for first, second or third, they knew the importance of every point and fought for each one.

In the girls meet, Corry won 11 individual events and two relays on its way to a 94-56 victory.

For Warren, Kyleigh Wilson won the 100 meters (13.74) and 200 meters (28.04).

“Our girls team was bested today, but there was a lot of positives that came away from the meet,” Dustin said. “We are finding the right events for a lot of young athletes and are getting stronger every day.”
