The Gafner Diamonds were 13-3 winners over Anchor Advisors to begin the season.
Alana Warrior finished with two doubles and Malaysia Sorenson smacked a grand slam. Sorenson, Nakita Nelson, Riley Gafner and Olivia Romanoski combined on a one-hitter. Morgan Zaffino snagged a line drive at first base on the defensive side.
