Freshmen boys basketball

Warren got a key 3-pointer and free throw late in Wednesday’s 44-43 freshmen boys basketball win over visiting Harbor Creek.

Warren was down five entering the fourth quarter. With the score tied at 40-40, Aidan Zdarko swished a 3-pointer off an inbounds pass. At 43-43 and holding for the last shot, Eric Dippold was fouled with 0.6 seconds on the clock and sank the first for the win.

Brady Berdine led Warren with 17 points, Braylon Barnes had 14, Konnor Hoffman and Zdarko 5 each, and Dippold 3.

Warren is next at Titusville on Monday.
