Kinzua Soccer Club’s 14/15 boys remained unbeaten at 6-0-1 with a 3-0 win over visiting Meadville on Sunday. Kinzua and Meadville tied, 3-3, earlier this season.

Kinzua’s defense stepped up big-time in this one to ensure the shutout by goalies Jack Lynds and Bergen Nelson.

Finn Ordiway opened the scoring off a rebound in the first half, and Gavin Rex found Nelson on a ferocious attack with seconds remaining in the first half for a huge second goal.

Logan Degnan played both offense and defense at times Sunday, and found Rex on a through pass for Kinzua’s final goal.

Kinzua hosts Clarion on Sunday in its final match of the PA West Soccer Division 7 season.
