Youngsville suffers volleyball loss

YOUNGSVILLE–Cambridge Springs volleyball was a 25-10, 25-11, 25-17 winner over Youngsville on Thursday.

Samantha Wilhelm had seven digs while Jena Wilson added 11 assists, three aces and three digs for the Lady Eagles, who honored their seniors before the contest.

In the jayvee match, Cambridge Springs won, 25-20, 25-17.

IKE FALLS

RUSSELL — Saegertown beat Eisenhower (0-9), 25-12, 25-18, 25-19, in District 10 Region 4 girls volleyball.

Paige Edwards had five kills, six digs and five service points to lead the Knights. Emilie Jones added three kills, seven service points and eight digs while Rayna Hultman had four kills, nine assists and 12 digs.

In the jayvee match, Saegertown won, 24-26, 27-25, 15-8.

For Eisenhower, Phoebe Tower had three kills, three service points and two digs while Faith Donnell had a kill, five service points and two digs.
