TITUSVILLE — Warren’s boys soccer team has accomplished its second and third goals of the season.

Now onto playoffs.

The Dragons beat Titusville, 6-0, on Thursday to wrap up a perfect 14-0-0 District 10 Region 4 schedule. In doing so, Warren also finished with a 94-4 scoring differential.

“Going undefeated was one of our goals for the season,” head coach Denny Flatt said. “We wanted to win the region and keep our goals against under five.”

Parks Ordiway scored the first two goals Thursday off assists from JT Blum. Blum then made it 3-0 just before halftime off an Ian Darling pass.

After the break, Ordiway tallied from Darling; Blum scored from Zane Anderson; and Ordiway scored from Darling again.

“Four different people got into the scoring column,” Flatt said. “Titusville was a very chippy team. They played with a lot of spirit, but we dominated the game.”

Wes Kiehl led the Dragons with 20 tackles and 18 steals. John Page had 11 tackles and 12 steals while Jack Darling had 11 tackles and 10 steals.

Playing just its second game of the season, Warren’s JV team also won, 2-0.

Hector Cruz and Madoxx Reed scored for the Dragons while Will Nebinski made four saves in the shutout.

“The development that happened with that squad this year — even with a lack of games — I was really proud of the way they responded,” assistant coach Chris Darling said. “Usually you get that reward of a game every week or twice a week. It paid off in both games. I’m excited to see those kids next season. Hopefully they stay with it in the winter and the spring.”

“We started the season with 28 players and had basically perfect attendance at every practice,” Flatt added. “It looks good for the future of Warren soccer. I’m very proud of the boys.”
