Eisenhower rolls to another win

ERIE — Different game, same dominant result for the Eisenhower football team.

In search of an undefeated region record and, more importantly the No. 1 seed for the District 10 playoffs, the Knights raced to a 43-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 50-8 victory over Seneca on Saturday afternoon.

Cael Black scored the first Eisenhower touchdown less than two minutes into the game, the lead grew to 21-0 after the first quarter and the Knights tacked on three more TDs before the break.

That was more than enough as Seneca didn’t find paydirt until the final minute of the game.

The Knights will play at Cochranton in an independent game next Friday. The district playoffs begin the following weekend in Russell against an opponent to be determined. It will mark the first home playoff game in school history.
