MONROE CENTER, Ohio — The Super Late Models will return to Raceway 7 this Saturday for a $5,000-to-win feature.

Previous winners of the “September Shootout” include Doug Drown and Max Blair. The ultra-fast cars will compete for a $5,000-to-win purse with $275 for the 24th-position finisher. The total purse for the Super Late Models will be over $18,000.

Joining the Super Late Models will be the E-Mods, racing for $2,000 to win and $225 to start, the RUSH Sprints for $700 to win and the mighty Mini Stocks, running for $350 to win.

The 2020 E-Mod champion, Brent Rhebergen is expected to run at the front of the park as well as former champions Joel Watson, Mike Kinney and Percy McDonald. Casey Bowers, Josh McDonald, Dan McDonald, Dennis Lunger and Mark Titus are all expected to be in contention for the win.

Jeremy Weaver is the current leader in the RUSH Sprint class points. Brian Hartzell, Steve Pendleton’s, Zach Morrow and Matt Sherlock III round out the top five. Former Raceway 7 Economod champion Brandon Blackshear is currently eighth and 1995 Raceway 7 Super Late Model Champion Brian Ruhlman is currently 18th. Kevin Ruhlman, son of former champion Chad Ruhlman, is currently 15th.

Mine Stock contenders include 2020 champion Jessica Harvey, 2020 race winners Mark Lawrence, Emily Storer and Pat Hanlon, plus several weekly competitors including Bondy Stoyer, Ana Vassen and Zoey Gill, who all raced near the front on a weekly basis.

Raceway 7 is located 6 miles south of Interstate 90, on Ohio Route 7, just south of Monroe Center (and Bushnell), Ohio. General admission for this special event fans is free on Friday night and $20 on Saturday. Pit admission is $20 for all ages on Friday and $30 Saturday. A special two-day ticket will be $40 for all ages.
