Ordiway lifts Warren boys to impressive soccer victory

OIL CITY — Parks Ordiway kept up his torrid goal-scoring pace as Warren beat Oil City, 13-0, in District 10 Region 4 boys soccer action Monday.

Ordiway scored four goals — all in the first half — and added an assist for the Dragons.

Ian Darling, JT Blum and Mark Lynds each chipped in a pair of goals while Alex Ferry, Jack Darling and Patrick Hefferen also scored for Warren.

Ferry, Wesley Kiehl and Ian Darling each had a pair of assists while Sean Duckett and Corbin Reinard each chipped in a single assist.

DRAGONS PLACE SECOND

TO PREP

EDINBORO — Evan Rowane’s 3-under-par 69 led Cathedral Prep to a District 10 Region 6 mega match win at Culbertson Hills Golf Resort on Monday.

Warren finished second with a team total of 335, paced by Teagan Gray’s fifth-place 75. Selvie Pearson finished seventh with an 81, Owen Blum had an 88 and Storm Sivak had a 91.

Cathedral Prep, which is first after six of seven mega matches this fall, finished in the first through fourth positions. Zach Henry followed Rowane with a 72, Breckin Taylor had a 74 and Phil Pedano also had a 74.
