McDowell sweeps all five matchups

McDowell was a 5-0 winner over Warren in District 10 girls tennis action.

Sam Becker topped Maddie Rodgers, 6-2, 6-1, at first singles while Brooke Lowry was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Sydnie Cochran at second singles.

“The scores may not show it but our singles girls actually played some good tennis today,” said Warren coach Tom Pellegrino. “They were up against some very talented Erie players that have a lot more match play experience.”

The pairings of Katie Moore and Maddie Perry and Meg McGuinness and Isabella Shingler both won their junior varsity matches for Warren.
