Stoddard is American Cancer Society Tournament champion

NORTH WARREN — Austin Stoddard fired a 68 to win the American Cancer Society’s Men’s Golf Championship on Wednesday at Conewango Valley Country Club.

The field was comprised of 130 golfers across four divisions. The event raised over $40,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Scott Pearson finished second with a 71 followed by Mike Onoratti with a 75 and Rick Allen with a 76.

Joe Colosimo led the Net Division with a 64 followed by John Golding (66), Ben McCracken (67) and Cole Robbins (68).

Rag Nigam led the Senior Division with a 64, winning a tiebreaker over Steve Rothenberg. Ted Eldridge was third with a 65 and Jim Senger had a 66.

Joe Akif led the Callaway Division with a 70, winning a tiebreaker over Phil Defabio. Nathan DeSimone was third with a 71, winning a tiebreaker over Kelly Smith.
