RUSSELL — Ron Heinrich and Roy Swanson tied for low gross honors with 36s during the Warren County Industrial Golf League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club on Thursday.

Jeff Sleeman, Devon Nowacki and Randy Voty shot matching 30s to lead the net scores.

United Refining had 19.5 points to maintain its first-place standing in the team results with 248.5 points.

NORTH WARREN — Betsy Senger’s 44 led Ladies Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Senger also had a net 34 to lead by one stroke and won the individual “Strike 3” game with a total of 19.

Deb Vicini made a 9-foot putt on No. 13.


RUSSELL — Cindy Paulmier’s 46 led Sharon Birtcil by one stroke to lead the Ladies League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club.

Paulmier’s 33 also led the net scores by five strokes over Margie Cerra and Sally Maldovan.

Paulmier’s score of 19 led the Odd Hole tournament while Birtcil and Maldovan tied for second with 22s.

Jody Christensen and Terri Larson tied for B Flight gross honors with 51s while Christensen led with a 35 net. Christensen and Jeana Morrison tied for the tournament honors with 21s.

In the C Flight, Veronica Anderson and Bev Eldridge shot matching 55s and matching net 38s. They also tied for tournament honors with 22s.

In the D Flight, Becky Olofson and Donna Zariczny had 55s with Olofson’s 33 leading the net scores. Cyndi Shield led the tournament with a 23.

Kathy Blackman, Donna Herzog and Nancy Monaghan had 63s to lead the E Flight with net honors going to Monaghan with a 36. Herzog won the tournament with a 25.

In the F Flight, Cindy Lodestro fired a gross 59 and a net 29 while topping the tournament scores with a 27.

Crystal Howe led the No Handicap Flight with a 71 and a net 32.

Darcy Marek made a putt from 12 feet, 5 inches on No. 17.
