The Jamestown Jackals of The Basketball League have announced two events planned for this summer.

The first, a pair of coed basketball clinics, will be held Saturday at The Hub at Praise Fellowship, located at 7451 Market St. in Russell. The first clinic is for youngsters ages 6-12 and will run from 9-10:30 a.m. The second clinic, which will run from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is for youngsters 13-18. Both opportunities will feature appearances by Jackals’ players Bernard Edwards, Anthony Estes and Daniel Mulamba.

The second summer event — a basketball skills camp — will run from July 6-10, also at The Hub. Jackals players will provide instruction with an underlying message that encourages positive lifestyle choices. The cost is $75. For more information, check out the team’s Facebook page.
