Today’s senior is Lindsay Finch of the Eisenhower track and field team:

Parents: Tim and Patty Finch

Spring Sport: Track and Field

Positions: Long and Triple Jump, 1600, Javelin

Coach: Darlene Beach

Other Sports: Cross Country, Swimming

Favorite Sports memories: Mars Invitational, when there was a storm delay the three years in a row we attended it, Humble, Alexi on the track bus, my XC girls, mud runs, Gracie just being Gracie and anytime we laughed a little too hard over something that was not that funny.

What is your favorite thing about being involved in sports: Forming the bond I have with my teammates that will last a lifetime.

What will you miss most about high school sports: Being with the people that I first started my sports journey with.

What has living through this crisis as a high school senior taught you: Never take anything for granted because it can be gone as fast as you got it.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be: Greece.

Cats or Dogs: Both!

Favorite hobby: exploring the outdoors with great people.

Favorite social media: Instagram.

If you could have one artist/ group on repeat playlist, who would it be: Khalid.

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you: I am avidly involved in CrossFit workouts at my gym, Peak Performance.

What is the best piece of advice that someone had given to you: Being the best you can be doesn’t happen overnight, putting in hard work is how you achieve it.

Plans after graduation: I will be attending Jamestown Community College for two years to earn my Healthcare Studies Certificate. Then will transfer to Erie Community College in Buffalo to attend their Dental Hygiene program.

Message for underclassmen: Give it your all everyday but remember to take a step back and appreciate the memories, friends and experiences you have gathered.
