Sheffield boys basketball players huddle around Sheffield freshman, and Lady Wolverine, Alexa Whipple prior to Wednesday’s game against Eisenhower at Sheffield High School. The team was welcoming Whipple back, with flowers and a small gift, after she spent nearly a month hospitalized as a result of injuries suffered in a December automobile accident.

I can’t individually thank everyone, so I decided to say it here. I physically cannot thank everyone enough for all the love, support, prayers, cards, presents, donations and more. It honestly means the world to me. I couldn’t do this without you guys. I’m finally home with a long recovery and lots of appointments. I’m feeling so much better and making a lot of progress.
