Lock Haven’s DJ Fehlman earned his 100th career win with a major decision over Bloomsburg’s Josh Mason Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, at Lock Haven University. Fehlman, a Warren Area High School alum and Warren County’s all-time wins leader, moved to 100-40 in his collegiate career.

Fehlman, a 2015 Warren Area High School graduate and Warren County’s all-time wins leader (135), became the 22nd Bald Eagle to reach the 100 win plateau. The win helped propel LHU to a 26-12 win over Bloomsburg.

Facing the Huskie’s Josh Mason at 133 pounds, Fehlman rolled to a 13-3 major decision for the milestone victory.

“DJ has been a consistent contributor since day one,” LHU head coach Scott Moore said. “He continues to work hard and this (100th win) is a testament to his consistency in the program.”

The win moved Fehlman’s season record to 12-5. He’s now won 11 straight bouts and hasn’t dropped a match since the second round at the Navy Classic on November 23. His career record stands at 100-40

“He’s working hard to reach his goals and this is a great milestone at this point in the year,” Moore said. “He’s one of the most dedicated student-athletes I’ve ever coached and it’s great to see his hard work pay off. He adds his name to a very accomplished list of wrestlers in Lock Haven history.”

The Warren wrestling program sent its congratulations in a Thursday night Tweet.

“Congrats to our very own DJ Fehlman on your 100th win,” the Tweet said. “And best wishes for many more.”

Lock Haven moved to 5-1 overall, and 1-0 in MAC East action with the win. The Bald Eagles will be at Clarion University today for a dual match.
