Sawyer Mohney and Kyra Wotorson had a goal and an assist each as the Warren Lady Dragons blanked Corry 3-0 on Senior Night Thursday.

It’s a Lady Dragon team riding a wave of momentum, as they now have some extended time off. With three teams in the Class 3A playoff field, Warren, as the top seeds, receives a bye all the way to the title game on Oct. 30, where they will meet the winner of Hickory and Meadville.

Against Corry, it was Wotorson who got the scoring going off a feed from Georgie Bickling. That was all the scoring in the first 40 minutes, as the Beavers did a solid job against the potent Dragon offense.

It was the senior Mohney who made it 2-0 in the second half, as Wotorson got the helper. Senior Aubrianna Navaroli capped the scoring on a feed from Mohney.

The Dragon defense was once again stellar, with Alyssa Andersen earning the shutout in net.

Warren finishes the regular season at 13-4-1 and second to only McDowell in Region 6.
