TCCS sweeps Forest

After three straight road games to start the season, Tidioute volleyball played in front of its home crowd for the first time in 2019 Wednesday.

The Bulldogs didn’t disappoint as they swept visiting Forest, 25-13, 25-19 and 25-13. TCCS’s superior serving proved the difference with 23 aces in the win.

Shelby Proctor had 10 aces and a dig, while Jenna Hunt had six aces, a kill and a dig.

Angelina Sabella added three aces and a kill and Andreya Curtin had a pair of aces to go along with her 12 assists.

Nakiesha Krouse led the attack with a pair of kills, an ace and a dig and Kelsey Nuttal had two digs, an ace, a kill and an assist.

Forest won the junior varsity match, 25-20 and 25-21.

Aspen Fors had three aces, Natalie Valentine had an ace, Lexis Drukenbrod added an assist and Skyla Daelhousen had two kills.

Tidioute is back on the road tonight when they head north to face cross-county rival Eisenhower.
