Sheffield falls at Redbank

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Redbank Valley scored two touchdowns in the opening three minutes of the game and never looked back en route to a 61-28 win over Sheffield on Friday in a District 9 League Small School North-South crossover.

The Bulldogs (4-0) led 48-6 at halftime.

Sheffield (0-4) scored 22 points in the second half, and the 28 total points were the most they have scored in a game since a 30-29 loss to Cameron County on Oct. 20, 2017.

The Wolverines have now lost 23-straight games dating back to 2016. They will seek to break that streak when they host Cameron County next Saturday.

No other details were available at press time.
