Lady Dragons cruise past Erie

ERIE, Pa. – The Warren Lady Dragons went on the road and picked up their second win of the season, 4-0 against a solid Erie Royals squad.

The win was a nice bounce-back for Warren (2-1 overall, 1-1 Region 6) following their first loss of the season against McDowell on Tuesday.

Kyleigh Wilson scored a pair of goals, Nos. 4 and 5 on the young season for the junior, while Georgie Bickling added her third in as many games and freshman Ella Ordiway scored her first varsity goal. Wilson and Bickling scored in the first half and Wilson added her second in the second half, along with Ordiway’s.

Assists went to MJ Fadale, Wilson, Kyra Wotorson and Mikaala Deppen. The Lady Dragons had 21 shots on goal. Alyssa Andersen got the shutout in net with four saves.

“It wasn’t our prettiest game and it took a bit for the girls to settle in,” said Warren coach Jeremy Bickling

“It’s not always nice to get a solid region win. “ “Kyleigh and Georgie have been consistent scorers for us .”

The Lady Dragons won the JV game, 2-1. Lennon Dailey and Andersen scored the goals.

Warren returns to action on Saturday, hosting General McLane.
