Overnight and morning rains postponed a pair of Warren Area High School sporting events Thursday.

Both the baseball and softball teams were scheduled to hit the road for region games and both contests have been rescheduled for next week.

The baseball team’s Region 7 matchup at Fort LeBoeuf was originally scheduled for Wednesday. The game had been moved to Thursday and the location changed to Ainsworth Field in Erie due to extreme conditions at the Bison’s home field. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 7 at Ainsworth. Varsity first pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. with junior varsity to follow.

The Lady Dragons softball team was to travel to Harbor Creek Thursday for a Region 7 game. That game has been moved to Monday, May 6 with first pitch set for 4 p.m.
