Warren tennis powers past visiting Oil City

Warren’s boys tennis team battled to a 4-1 win over visiting Oil City Wednesday.

The Dragons’ lone loss came as a result of an injury forfeit in second doubles.

Caleb Ei made quick work of Alec Klapec at first singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win. At second singles, Tyler Howard defeated Caleb Gardner, 6-4, 6-3. AJ Seylor wore down Patrick Wagner in three sets. Seylor came away with a 6-7 (7-4), 6-3, 6-0 win.

At first doubles, the team of Thomas Lucks and Eli Kerb won 6-3, 6-4 over Eli Flinchbaugh and Max Latona.

Elliott Neal and Wesley Kiehl were forced to forfeit their match with Sean Stack and Mason Stevens due to injury.

The Dragons will play their fourth match in as many days this week when they travel to St. Marys today.
