Dragon tennis rolls to victory over Titusville

Warren’s boys tennis team continued its hot start to a busy week with a 5-0 win over visiting Titusville Wednesday.

No Dragons player or team lost more than three games in five straight set wins.

“This was another solid team victory over a region opponent,” Warren associate coach Thomas Pellegrino said.

Caleb Ei was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Charley Evans at first singles, and Tyler Howard won his second singles match against Nick Wright by the same score. Seth Conarro picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win against Ty Texter at third singles.

“All of our singles guys played exceptionally well today, setting themselves up for even more success in the future,” Pellegrino said.

In doubles action, the team of Wesley Kiehl and Stephen Ashbaugh topped Tudor/Miller, 6-0, 6-0 at first, while Max Harrison and Aidan Colosimo were 6-1, 6-2 winners over Rea/Bramley at second.

“I’m very pleased with the progress all of our boys are making at this time,” Warren coach Travis Myler said.
