Tidioute falls to Jamestown

Tidioute ran into a buzzsaw on Friday, falling to Region 1 foe Jamestown (PA) 86-42.

The Muskies used their height to their advantage, getting a monster game out of 6-3 senior Elliot Steadman, who poured in 30 points.

“We got down four early, missed three easy ones in the paint, and it seems like it all went down hill from there,” said Tidioute coach Terry Cotterman.

The Bulldogs (7-5 overall, 0-1 Region 1) got another strong game from Jared Veasey, who scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Patrick Shields had eight points and nine rebounds for the Bulldogs, who host Commodore Perry on Tueaday (6 p.m.) in the first game of a doubleheader with the Tidioute girls, who welcome Eisenhower (7:30).
