Tidioute boys earn victory over Calvary

MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Tidioute Bulldogs took care of business on Thursday, grinding out a 48-35 win at Calvary Baptist.

Patrick Shields had 15 points and 14 rebounds and Jared Veasey 12 points and 14 rebounds as the Bulldogs (9-5 overall) pulled away in the second half.

“We knew it was going to be a tough game,” said Tidioute coach Terry Cotterman. “We had a good second quarter and then in the second half, we were in the zone both offensively and defensively.”

Maison DeLoe had eight points and 19 rebounds and Ryan Williams six points and four steals for the Bulldogs.

Tidioute is back in action Saturday, looking to pick up its 10th win of the season when they travel to Eisenhower.
