Warren County sends 15 to STOWA quarters

SALAMANCA, N.Y. – Warren County wrestlers have the opportunity to make a lot of noise when action resumes at the STOWA Tournament this morning.
Eisenhower and Warren have a combined 15 wrestlers in the quarterfinals, with the bulk of the rosters still alive in the consolation bracket. Additionally, both teams are in the top 10 in the team standings, with Warren sitting at eigth and Eisenhower third.
“Everybody is still alive,” Eisenhower coach Kris Black said.
Advancing to the quarterfinals from Eisenhower are: Easton Hedman, Logan Jaquay, Garrett Head, Nate Holt, Alex Barnett, Ethan Chambers, Cael Black and Joe Bauer. The Dragons moving on include: Connor Papalia, Christian Papalia, Alex Anderson, John Fankhouser, Mabrukhe Tagba, Joey Arnold and Billy Anderson.
Wrestling resumes at 10 a.m. today.
