Knights fall in Region 3 contest against Saegertown
Saegertown outscored Eisenhower 22-6 in the first half en route to a 52-23 win in the Region 3 opener for both teams on Wednesday.
The young Knights (0-6 overall, 0-1 Region 3) were limited to just one field goal in the first half, a 3-pointer by freshman Curt Darling.
Eisenhower got as close as 13 early in the third quarter on a pair of free throws by Caleb Robinault, but Saegertown (3-1, 1-0) responded with a 10-3 run to put the game out of reach.
Max Fuller led a balanced effort for the winners with 12 points, while Darling had 8 to pace Ike.
The Knights return to action on Friday, hosting Sheffield.
