Gracie Wood

Warren’s Gracie Wood earned Region 3 first team all-star honors for her senior season on the tennis court this fall.

At first singles, Wood was matched against some of the toughest competition within both Region 3, and District 10, all season. The battle-tested senior used that experience to her advantage in D-10 postseason competition.

Wood, who entered play as the fourth seed, found herself trailing 4-7 in the first match. She came back to win five straight and advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarters, she dominated her opponent 8-2. Wood bowed out in the semis to eventual D-10 champion Lauren Fadden of McDowell.
