The Warren Lady Dragons celebrate their District 10 title.

MEADVILLE – The Warren Lady Dragons made history on Saturday evening at Meadville High School, beating Conneaut 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 18-25, 25-13) for the program’s first-ever District 10 title.

The first two sets were nip-and-tuck the whole way through between the two top 3A teams in the district, with the Dragons winning both.

Conneaut stayed alive with a 25-18 win in the third, only to watch Warren come back and dominate the fourth to close it out, punctuated by a kill from Lydia Latimer.

The Lady Dragons advance to play Central Valley in the first round of the PIAA playoffs on Tuesday.
