Warren volleyball rolls past Central Valley, into state quarterfinals

Warren volleyball rolled past Central Valley in the first round of the PIAA playoffs, 3-0.
MEADVILLE, Pa. – Entering the PIAA playoffs for the first time in program history, Warren volleyball showed no nerves, easily disposing of Central Valley, the No. 3 team out of the WPIAL, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-17).
The Lady Dragons are now among the final eight teams in the state in Class 3A. They advance to play Thomas Jefferson in the quarterfinals on Saturday at a site and time to be determined. TJ, the WPIAL runner-up, beat District 9 champion DuBois, 3-0.
