Where do we begin?

As all of you know, our dreams of winning the Region 6 Championship and District 10 Championship began after our District 10 loss of the 2017 season. We worked tirelessly during open gyms, weight lifting sessions, camps, tournaments, summer league, and practices to achieve these goals….and then some. An undefeated season, Region 6 and D10 Championship and PIAA State Runner-Up occurred because of the hard work, dedication, and commitment that we sustained over this year. What we didn’t expect, was the amazing support we received from our fans!

Throughout our regular season, our home stands filled up a little more each game. Not only was the always loyal flannel panel electric, but so were all of you! You have no idea how much this fired us up.

After the regular season ended and playoffs began, so did the traveling. One might think this would cause our fan base to decrease, but it only got BIGGER! To our fans, we can’t thank you enough! Thank you for following us throughout our regular season and playoff run. Thank you for traveling distances to Meadville, Punxsutawney, Clarion, and 4 hours to Mechanicsburg!

Thank you to those individuals and businesses that made generous and thoughtful donations. Thank you to all of our friends at Eisenhower, Sheffield, and Youngsville who cheered for us at games. Thank you to WAHS for the hallway cheers, Beaty for the roadside cheers, Sheffield for the exciting send-off, and all of the younger students for the signs. Thank you YEMS for the watch party and to all the local establishments that purchased the live feed for your patrons to watch. Thank you to our devout Flannel Panel!

Thank you to our dedicated and kind bus driver Jolly. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone to drive us but you. Thank you to our families. Thank you to the Warren City and Youngsville Police Departments, and Cherry Grove, Sheffield, Clarendon, Pleasant Twp., Glade Twp., and United Refining Co. fire departments for the unforgettable escorts home from Districts and to and home from States.

Not sure that thank you is enough. It was an incredible ride and we are glad all of you were right there along with us.
