Eisenhower's Drake Gens was named a first team Region 3 All-Star.

Eisenhower’s Drake Gens was named a first team Region 3 All-Star, as voted on by the region coaches.

Gens, a senior, had a strong campaign for the Knights, posting a .421 batting average, per MaxPreps. He also played a key role pitching for the Knights, thus his first team nod at Utility.

The Knight was a 4-year starter, and played a key role in helping the Knights reach the state championship game as a freshman in 2015.

Camden Mattocks of Maplewood and Chase Schultz of Cambridge Springs shared Region Player of the Year honors, while Shad Haskins of region champion Union city was named Pitcher of the Year.
