Sheffield girls fall
BROCKWAY – Overcoming a slow start, the Sheffield Lady Wolverines gained momentum late in first quarter, cutting a 17-point deficit to 11, but that was as close as they come in Wednesday’s 62-21 loss at Brockway.
“The effort wasn’t there, the scoreboard shows that,” said Sheffield coach Brandon Troutman.
Mya Grubbs scored 12 points in defeat.
Sheffield’s JV also lost.
