Cambridge Springs too much for Ike girls

Cambridge Springs showed why it is closing in on a Region 3 title on Saturday, beating Eisenhower 63-19.

The Blue Devils (17-3 overalll, 13-0 Region 3) led 21-6 in the first quarter and never looked back.

“They’re a good ball club,” said Eisenhower coach Mike Logue. “They’re unbeaten in the region and seen by many as the second best 2A team in District 10 behind West Middlesex. We came out and played with them early, but their ability took over.”

Alex Miller led a balanced scoring effort with 16 points, while Lydia Giannini, Savannah McKown and Delaney Nizzi each had four points for Eisenhower.
