Eisenhower falls to Harbor Creek
FAIRVIEW – The Eisenhower Knights left the Fairview Tip-Off Tournament 0-2 after a 42-37 setback to Harbor Creek in the consolation game on Saturday, but nevertheless saw a lot of progress against some really good competition.
Senior Jaydon Hayes, after exiting Friday’s game against Fairview early due to injury, had a monster game with 24 points.
The Knights battled back from a 14-6 early deficit to tie the game at the half, but the Huskies had just a little too much over the final 16 minutes.
“It’s early in the year and that was a good game for us to have,” said Eisenhower coach Ryan Williams. “We’re going to keep learning and getting better.”
The Knights also lost the JV game, 47-37. Jared Martone had 10 points to lead Ike.
