WCCS gets another win

Warren County Christian School continued its strong play with a 3-1 (25-16, 18-25, 25-15, 25-20) win over CCSI.

Leading the way were Allison Weidner (10 service points, 2 aces, 2 blocks, 11 kills), Rachel Brenner (5 service points, 10 kills, 9 digs), Becca Erdman (7 service points, 1 ace, 1 kill, 8 assists, 5 digs), Lydia Cox (8 service points, 1 block, 2 kills, 7 digs), Desirae Kerr (7 service points, 2 aces, 2 blocks, 20 assists), Kelsey Kelly (11 service points, 5 aces, 18 digs), Allie Marino (1 block, 2 kills; Emma Marino 1 block, 2 kills) and McKenna Phelps (1 kill) led the way.

“Overall, we are playing well together and putting fourth a good effort,” said WCCS coach Monica Kerr.

The JV team also stayed unbeaten, 25-17, 25-20.

Rachel Beatty (10 service points, 8 aces, 2 kills, 4 assists), Emma Marino (8 service points, 2 aces, 1 kill), McKenna Phelps (9 service points, 1 ace, 2 kills), Gracia Clark (1 service point, 2 kills), Kiara Baker (4 service points, 1 ace) and Ellie Beatty (1 ace) paced WCCs.

The Lady Lions travel to Erie First on Tuesday.
