CASA Superhero 5K

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) of Warren and Forest Counties will host a 5K Superhero event on September 23rd in Russell, PA. The event will include a one-mile family walk/run featuring a superhero gauntlet, a 5K road race, and a 5K relay race featuring four-person teams from our area’s helping professionals (e.g., teachers, doctors, nurses, as well as fire, EMT, and police department personnel). The event will include street vendors, a chicken BBQ sponsored by the Russell Fire Department, and various activities sponsored by the Russell Methodist Church.

Registration for the event is available at https://localraces.com/casaofwarrenandforestcounties with pre-registration ending on September 9th. Participating children will receive superhero capes as part of their registration and all entrants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero.
